We started Plaid to solve a simple problem: How can we empower developers and consumers to control their financial data? That mission still drives us today. We’re constantly striving to lower the barrier to entry into financial services.
In the three years since our founding, we’ve helped tens of thousands of companies—like charity: water, Stripe, Coinbase, Venmo, and Capital One—build fast, secure, and user-friendly experiences. In the last year alone, we connected tens of millions of accounts and analyzed more than $1 trillion of spend—and we’re just getting started.
While we think we’ve made good progress, we still have a long way to go. Financial technology is a space ripe for innovation through design and although our team is small, we have big plans for the future.
We’ve always been deeply invested in our brand and are dedicated to bringing it to life in a way that confidently and elegantly tells the Plaid story. As a Brand Designer on the Design team, you’ll have a tremendous amount of ownership over every gesture we make as an organization across a diverse set of platforms and experiences.
We believe that to positively transform financial services, it’s paramount to provide developers with better tools for interacting with financial data. As a Product Designer at Plaid, you’ll play a crucial role in defining the next generation of financial technology through your contributions to the Plaid Dashboard and Link.
As an early member of the Design team, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping define the process and principles that we will carry with us as Design at Plaid scales. We’re a craft-obsessed yet pragmatic team determined to make a meaningful difference in the financial lives of millions, and we know that nurturing a thriving design culture focused on our customers is essential to getting us there.
