The healthcare system is notoriously broken, complex, and costly. Clover Health is a unique health insurance company that is using technology to drive down costs and improve health outcomes for an elderly, underserved population.
Designers at Clover thrive on solving hard problems. We foster a culture of design by inviting cross-functional teams into our process of understanding our audience’s pain points, generating different solutions, and testing our ideas. We do all of this to deliver products and experiences you might not expect from a health insurance company— ones that combine personal care and modern technology to give people the healthcare that they deserve.
Disparate data and old technology are huge problems in healthcare. Clover is developing internal software for our customer service, clinical, and insurance operations teams. With a complete picture of our members’ health and interactions with us, we can provide better care and service to our members.
Clover designers define emerging patterns, interactions, and visual systems from the ground up to solve for problems that haven’t been solved yet, such as simultaneous collaboration on content and applying those patterns to multiple pieces of software. It’s an opportunity to not only design better healthcare software, but to design a whole new way to work.
Data is at the center of our company. By capturing and visualizing complex data, we are able to draw insights and drive decisions. Data informs us on how we can deliver the most business impact and how to better people’s lives through continuous improvement.
Bold. Simple. Human. Clear. These are Clover’s brand values for building an entirely new and different health insurance company. Our brand team is committed to improving the member and healthcare experience. We design everything from clearer bills to helping members navigate the complex world of Medicare.
